[Outreachy announcement] [Due March 2] Applicant and mentor deadlines extended

Outreachy organizers understand that the conflict in Ukraine will have an impact on many people in the region. Our hearts are with refugees fleeing and all families impacted by this conflict.

During this time of crisis, we understand people may be worried or grieving, and may miss our upcoming internship cohort deadlines.

Outreachy is extending our deadlines for all applicants and mentors. The new deadlines are:

Initial application deadline: Tuesday, March 2 at 4pm UTC

Mentoring organization sign up deadline: March 2 at 4pm UTC
Mentor project submission deadline: March 23 at 4pm UTC
