Outreachy organizers have moved the start date of the contribution period to Monday, October 5 at 4pm UTC. This will allow us to review all initial applications.

Project List

The Outreachy project list is almost finalized! We have five communities that have not listed their projects yet. The final project list will be available on October 5.

Emails to applicants
---

All approved applicants will receive an email on October 5 at 4pm UTC. People who are not accepted will not receive an email.

You can check the status of your initial application on October 5 at 4pm UTC on the Outreachy website dashboard:

Between now and October 5, some applicants may receive emails from Outreachy organizers. We email applicants to ask them to clarify their time commitments or essay answers. Please make sure to check your Spam folder, as well as your Promotions or Updates tab in Gmail.

If you have not received an email asking you to revise your essay or clarify your time commitments, don't worry. Outreachy organizers only send these emails to some applicants we need to follow up with.
