FAQ
---
We've received common questions, so please check the FAQ below.
---
Q1. I'm not a student, but I live in the northern hemisphere. Can I apply to the December 2020 internship cohort?
A1. Yes. If you are not a student, you can apply to any internship round.
---
Q2. I'm getting an error when I submit the account profile form that says "413 Request entity too large". Can you fix this?
A2. We have a file size limit for the profile picture. If you submit a profile picture that is larger than 1 MB, you will cause this error. Please submit a smaller profile picture on the account page.
---
Q3. My university has not restarted due to COVID-19. What term dates should I fill in?
A3. Use the term dates from last year's calendar. Applicants will be able to update their time commitments in their final application. This allows you to update your mentor about whether your school is restarting.
---
Q4. There seem to be less projects listed this round than last round. I can't find a project that fits my skills. Should I still apply?
A4. Yes, please do fill out an initial application. The project list will not be finalized until October 1. That means projects that match your skill set may be added after the initial application deadline (September 24). Therefore, you should apply even if you don't see a project that meets your interests.
---
Q5. If I apply this round, and I'm not accepted as an intern, can I apply again?
A5. Yes! You can apply as many times as you like. You can only participate as an intern once.
