Hi Outreachy applicants,

The initial application results are now available for the December 2022 Outreachy internship cohort. We received a whopping 4,440 initial applications. 1,640 initial applications were approved.

We have sent emails to everyone with an approved initial application. Please check your email, including your Updates and Promotions tab on Gmail, and your spam folder for your email.

You can also log into the Outreachy website to see your initial application status:

If your initial application was not selected, please apply again!  Applications will open in February 2023 for the May 2023 cohort. Applications will open in August 2023 for the December 2023 cohort.
